Eugene K. "Gene" Hollander has practiced law in the Chicago, Illinois area since 1986. He began his career as a criminal prosecutor in the Cook County State's Attorney's office, earning extensive courtroom experience at the trial and appellate levels. He obtained further trial experience as a senior litigation associate at another law firm before opening his own practice, the Law Offices of Eugene K. Hollander, in 1996. Mr. Hollander has tried more than 100 cases in state and federal courts, in employment law, personal injury, professional malpractice claims, and commercial litigation.

Gene Hollander and associates Paul W. Ryan and Erin K. Buck continue to provide aggressive representation in these practice areas. Every case is prepared for the possibility of trial. Mr. Hollander and company have obtained many notable verdicts and settlements, including a $3.5 million settlement in a work injury case (the largest settlement in a burn case in Cook County history for a worker over 50), and $1.45 million jury verdict in a disability discrimination case that set a record for compensatory damages. He has been recognized by peers and legal publications for his knowledge, results, and service to clients: as an Illinois Super Lawyer in employment law, and through a Martindale-Hubbell AV® Peer Review Rating*, and is a member of the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.
